They were testing four Apple portable models with Air Port cards, on a scale of 0 to 100. Two of them is iBook 466Mhz & 600Mhz and other two was the Titanium G4/550MHz & G4 800MHz. From the base station to approximately 78ft., both Titaniums lost the signal, but iBook was still receiving the signal even after 118ft.

Magazine didn't go into detail why Titaniums lost the signal even though all four Apple laptop used same Air Port cards. I've learned so much already. Now, I know what "blog" is. Knowing is very important!!!

I've signed up for this wireless class because at first, it looked very interesting and love to learn everything about the technologies. And also, this class might help me with my thesis project. It will be great experience to learn about Wi-Fi and have hands-on experiences.

My level of experience with web design...I've took one semester of flash & HTML (both...beginning courses). With that knowledge, I've tried to built my own website, but it looked really bad. I wish I can make professional looking website.

It would be great, if I can make somesort of working wireless models.

My background?....Hmmmmm~ I'm a Undergraduate student at Parsons and studying Product design. This semester is my last semester!!! Finally!!! Before I transfered into parsons, I was attending University of Massachusetts at Amherst...It's like 3 hours North of NYC and 2 hours West of Boston, MA.
